Brosix’s latest 3.4 version release includes two new features and announces upcoming updates.

Brosix is pleased to announce that the latest version of Brosix Instant Messenger, version 3.4 is being released this week. This version includes a few new features that we are sure online users looking for an enterprise instant messaging program or a free instant messenger will love, including:

• Magnifying Glass Screenshot Feature: This feature allows sender to enlarge an area of a screenshot that may be needs emphasis. This can help enhance details or further explain things a little better when pointing out a certain item on the screenshot.
• Conference co-browse: This feature is very useful for people working remotely who need to browse pages and surf the internet simultaneously. Now most of the Brosix features (screenshot, co-browse, group chat, whiteboard, file transfer) have conference availability.
• Enhanced Contact Fields: We have added three new contact fields to users' instant messaging profiles: Work, Mobile, and Home phone. This allows a user to call someone on their contact list when using the free Brosix app on their iPhone or Android phone. Clicking on the user’s phone number will take them to their phone app, with the number entered in and ready to dial. This makes connecting with users on your contact list quick and easy.

Brosix has also announced their plans for future features in Brosix Instant Messenger, which includes Spell Check, Multi Protocol (which allows users to connect to external networks like AIM, Yahoo, Facebook, and Google Talk), and an enhanced File Transfer experience, which includes the ability to send larger files to users on your contact list.
