The Phoenix community will enjoy tasty gluten free pancakes, live music, painting, vendors and even a meet and greet with Mrs. Northwest International 2013 Brandy Wendler who lives with celiac disease, when Gluten Free Calendar brings one of their signature events home to the birthplace of their company.

Join special guests Mrs. Northwest International 2013 Brandy Wendler a nationwide celiac advocate, Darius Lux an LA based gluten sensitive singer/songwriter who will be performing at the event, and gluten sensitive gallery painter Tiffanie Davis-Rustam who will be painting during the event then auctioning off her piece to benefit the local East Valley Celiac Disease Foundation Chapter and the Center for Celiac Research for an exciting celiac awareness event. The event will take place in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday March 9th from 2-5 pm at the Arizona Center located at 400 E. Van Buren Street Phoenix, AZ 85004. Guests will enjoy FREE admission and a tasty gluten free pancake dinner compliments of Danell's Signature Blends. Free samples and the opportunity to purchase products from local and nationwide gluten free vendors, prizes including tickets to that evening's Gluten Free and Celiac Awareness Night with the Suns and gift bags for the first 250 attendees are just a few more things guests can look forward to. Adults won't be the only ones having a great time at the event. The kids fun zone will feature a bounce house, face painting and more including the Celebrate Celiac™ children’s art exhibit. It will feature local children's art showing how they are celebrating celiac and the gluten free life and will be available for purchase with 100% of proceeds going to the Center for Celiac Research, Gluten Free Calendar’s official non-profit partner. There will be an art station for those children who would like to participate the day of the event. "This community celebration gives each child the chance to make a difference and be involved in raising money for celiac research just by expressing their positive thoughts through a piece of art. We are thrilled to see the excitement as local children know they are making a difference before, during and after our event." said Chandice Probst, Founder- Gluten Free Calendar.
