Childrens book "Candy Goes Shopping" teaches the importance of making good choices.
Memphis, Tennessee (PRWEB) February 19, 2014
According to Psychology Today, decision-making is among the most important skills to teach your child to help them develop into mature adults.
In her book Candy Goes Shopping, Tierney McMillian provides readers with a cheerful childrens book about a girl named Candy and her shopping trip.
As readers follow Candy and her mother on their shopping excursion, they will gain insight into various parenting practices as Candys mother empowers her to make her own decisions.
My goal for this book is to educate children on how to make good choices and use their parents as guides, McMillian said.
McMillian, an experienced public school employee, shares her knowledge of child behavior through humor, laughter and the joy of learning.
Together, parents and children can learn from Candys adventure and understand how to empower one another in the decision-making process.
