TEL AVIV, Israel, May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
HIRO Media - the premier online video content SSP that helps clients achieve maximum profits and sustainable success - has announced a partnership with MRC-accredited viewability provider Integral Ad Science (IAS), the leading global provider of actionable advertising intelligence for buyers and sellers of digital media, to provide brand-safety and viewability-measurement solutions on HIRO's platform. This announcement follows recent announcements from HIRO about partnerships to garner third-party brand-safety tools.
The integration with IAS will make HIRO Media one of the first companies to comply with the Viewable Impression Measurement Guidelines proposed by the Media Rating Council (MRC). The viewability capabilities will be accompanied by IAS's brand-safety tools; together with Adometry (HIRO's other brand-safety partner), this new partnership will help augment HIRO's measurement services.
The "viewable impression measurement" is a cross-industry initiative and part of the Making Measurement Make Sense (3MS) mission, which was founded by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As), the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), and the Media Rating Council (MRC), which is responsible for setting and implementing measurement standards.
"Viewability and brand safety are key media quality issues, and it's the responsibility of all stakeholders in digital advertisers to address these important metrics," said Daniel Levine, Business Development Director at Integral. "HIRO Media is taking a leadership approach, and we look forward to helping the company proactively provide high quality media."
Ariel Napchi, CEO of HIRO, commented on the value of his company's transparency in an industry that is often plagued by dubious reporting practices: "We provide content owners with measurement and brand-safety tools from independent third parties at little cost to our clients, so they experience equitable, certified reporting that they can trust. Content owners can make sure that their content and the ads associated with it are viewed by real people."
HIRO's technology optimizes deliverability and performance in all areas of the online video-advertising and syndication spectrum. It focuses on providing solutions for content owners to manage their video-ad sales, inventory, and analytics, while ensuring multiplatform delivery and transparency.
