BOSTON, May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Drizly, the smartphone app for fast, convenient alcohol delivery, today continued its expansion as it announced the appointments of three executives to oversee engineering, customer experience and operations. 

Drizly is a mobile lifestyle app that is the most convenient way for smartphone users who drink to get their beer, wine and liquor. Consumers of legal drinking age simply download the app to their smartphone and with a few taps of the finger, the consumer's favorite beer, wine or liquor is on its way, in just 20-40 minutes.

The company announced today that it has named Hugh Hunter as its vice president of engineering; Jeremy Kriegel as VP of customer experience; and Bryan Goodwin as VP of sales and retail partners.

HUGH HUNTER, VP OF ENGINEERING

As VP of Engineering, Hugh Hunter oversees the growing team of technologists responsible for the development and quality of all front- and back-end applications and Web sites serving both Drizly consumers, and its retail partner network.  Prior to joining Drizly, Hunter was software architect at Vente Privee, the pioneering flash sale site.  Before Vente Privee, Hunter spent more than 10 years in software development, engineering and quality assurance roles at companies like Visa and Hearst.  He graduated from Yale and earned a Masters from the University of Southern California.

JEREMY KRIEGEL, VP OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

As VP of Customer Experience, Jeremy Kriegel stewards the design strategy and philosophy that assures that each Drizly consumer has the most delightful experience, from downloading and signing up, to finding and discovering products, to checking out and beyond.  Prior to joining Drizly, Kriegel was director of user experience (UX) at Gemvara, an online store for customized jewelry.  Before Gemvara, Kriegel spent more than 15 years in UX and user interface roles at organization such as Endeca, Sapient and Xerox.  A UX authority who is a frequent speaker on the conference circuit, Kriegel graduated from Carnegie Mellon.

BRYAN GOODWIN, VP OF SALES AND RETAIL PARTNERS

As VP of Sales and Retail Partners, Bryan Goodwin is responsible for establishing and servicing the finest alcohol delivery network in the country, making sure that Drizly's retail partners are servicing customers at the highest possible level, and deriving maximum enterprise value from being part of the Drizly network.  Goodwin joins Drizly from TripAdvisor, where most recently he was the director of North American sales and operations. Prior to TripAdvisor, Goodwin was the first employee at FlipKey, the leading vacation rental marketplace, where he grew and managed key enterprise accounts.  Goodwin graduated from Bentley, where he also earned a Masters degree and played four seasons of Division 1 ice hockey.
